Rant alert!

Patience is a virtue apparently, unfortunately being pregnant and hormonal I seem to be lacking in it. So in the spirit of moodiness as I am not feeling very sweetness and light today – here are 5 things currently really doing my head in...

  1. People giving you vague appointments saying for instance I will come to see you on Thursday (no time specified) and then you wait in all day for them to show and they don’t...seriously, how rude?

  2. The Co-Op (the only supermarket in town) never having fully stocked shelves and always having the biggest queues

  3. The fact that due to pregnancy I am a ticking time bomb of crazy. I can never make up my mind about what I feel like eating, I go through days where I feel like crying all the time for no reason what so ever and I keep having random hormonal rants (like this one!)

  4. I seem to have read all the books I own and being that I am currently signed off sick and have a hatred of daytime TV I am in need of mental stimulation (but with a low budget (due to the being signed off sick) I will not be buying any new books in the foreseeable future)

  5. Me – yes I am doing my head in. All this ranting when I should be on a happy high of being pregnant (and generally I am, just not all the time). I guess I am just bored of being in all the time and feeling a bit lonely as I hardly ever get to see anyone, apart from my dogs all the time. Seriously if Ava and Buffy started to talk I don’t think I would even be that surprised or would at least even realise I had cracked like an overdone egg at breakfast for a good few days... (Ava & Buffy are my dogs btw)

Anyway rant over. I feel a little better and am now off to drown my highly flawed, selfish self-misery in a cup of decaffeinated tea (I know there are people much worse off than me, but still it doesn’t hurt to have a rant every once in a while).

Later.
